What is usually in a full set?
Most sets include tiles and racks; some include a mat, bag, shufflers, or other accessories. Each brand is different so be sure to read the description to see what else you might need.
Are full sets good for a first set?
Full sets can be a great start because you know you'll have everything you need for your first game night! Start with colors you love and add other pieces later as you grow to love mahjong more.
What's the difference between a regular sized and travel sized set?
Generally, travel sets are much more compact, with smaller/lighter tiles made to take along with you on trips, keep at a second home, or use for kids. Mat sizes differ (usually in the 20 inch range vs 33 inches for a regular sized mat).
